'Hotel Comfort' Anyone??!!

So, over the Christmas and New Year period I was looking after important clients who opted for the 'Hotel Comfort' package. Which meant having to catch the 8:00am bus from Les Houches into Chamonix, going to the bakery to buy baguettes, croissants and pain aux chocolates and lay out a breakfast table for my guests in their rented chalet.

I was looking after them for one week, so I decided to do something special for them each day I was there.

Day 1 - I made towel ducks and placed them in each bathroom.

Day 2 - I wrote them a lovely note in French for New Years Day and placed the note in a champagne glass on their breakfast table.

Day 3 - My creative side came out to play, as they have a 4 month old baby girl I made them a ski baby using the babies ski wear, a towel and with a little help from the nanny a pair of sun glasses and lay the ski baby in the cot.
NOTE: They are a very nice, friendly French family who like a laugh and this had them in stitches.

Day 4, 5, 6 - 'Crazy Creations'
I noticed that one of the adults had been reading a book about childcare and as it was left bookmarked on the side I decided to create a funny scene using a bed throw for the body, sunglasses for the eyes and a pair of gloves as hands.

aaand another 'Crazy Creation'

Day 7 - I had to say goodbye to this lovely family but it was such a pleasure looking after them for the week and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just remember it's the small things in life that count so make each day special, especially with your loved ones around you. Family should mean the world to us all.

I hope you all have an amazing year ahead of you...
